Want to restore a faded truck bed liner and faded plastic trim quickly and easily, without complicated tools or a lengthy restoration process? In this video, Josh from ImJoshV shows us a simple way to bring faded, oxidized plastics back to life on a Ford F-150 using Quivr Seal.
As many of you know, I’m currently recovering from distal biceps tendon surgery, so my friend Josh generously stepped in to help me create some great detailing content while I heal. He’ll show you how to restore the look of a faded bed liner, plastic trim and cowl, while also demonstrating just how versatile Quivr Seal can be on other surfaces.
The beauty of this method is its simplicity. Simply spray Quivr Seal directly onto the surface, lightly blot or level any excess or high spots if needed, and then leave the product to cure. That’s it — no specialty restoration tools and no complicated process.
Josh demonstrates the process on the faded and oxidized bed liner, exterior plastic trim and cowl of a Ford F-150 so we can see the transformation and final results.
Quivr Seal is a water-based silica ceramic spray sealant designed to protect and enhance multiple surfaces, including paint, trim, chrome, plastics, glass and more on both interior and exterior surfaces. To demonstrate that versatility, Josh also shows another application method, using a machine polisher to apply Quivr Seal to the paint and glass.
In this video you’ll learn:
• How to restore a faded truck bed liner
• How to revive faded and oxidized exterior plastic trim
• A quick and easy method that requires no specialty restoration tools
