Gyeon GelCoat marine coating has the following features:
– Provides intense UV protection against oxidation and color loss
– Provides chemical resistance from the salty water (pH 2-11)
– Provides high water mark resistance
– Increases slickness leading to high self-cleaning properties for ease of maintenance
Application instructions:
Wash the surface, and dry it.
Prep the surface with Degrease to remove polishing oils and grease.
Apply the coating in a thick layer, using circular motion.
Wipe off immediately, and do not allow to dry.
Let the coating cure for 48 hours, avoiding contact with water.
GelCoat can be used on gel coat paints (porous) and yacht paints (non porous, like automotive clear coat).
Durability: 1-2 seasons
You’ll need to use approximately 3-5 ml per square meter.
