Foam cannons are used during the pre-wash stage of car detailing, to clean any vehicle with concentrated foam power from a snow foam car soap. A foam cannon basically sprays thick foam that sticks to and encapsulates dirt particles, allowing them to be lifted off the paint and rinsed away, greatly reducing the chances of swirl marks during the wash stage that follows.
Using a foam cannon provides a scratch-free washing experience. A foam cannon can also be used as part of a touch-free car wash process. If your car is lightly soiled or only has a light layer of dust, you can spray your favorite car wash soap with the foam cannon, let it dwell 5 to 10 minutes (or according to the manufacturer’s instructions) then rinse away. You can then dry your car with a car dryer or leaf blower, for the ultimate touch-less car wash experience.
