SUPER FAST WiFi NETWORK IN MY HOME !! Ubiquiti UniFi + UniFi Protect TOTAL OVERKILL! In this video, I present my new home network setup, with Ubiquiti UniFi enterprise level networking equipment. I have a 1Gbps fiber internet connection (wired). I decided to upgrade my current AmpliFi HD Wi-Fi mesh system to get even better wireless performance out of my fast internet connection along with increased security.

Ubiquiti Networks is an American technology company that manufactures wireless data communication products. The UniFi system is an enterprise platform with wired & wireless network devices. Everything can be monitored and managed via the UniFi Controller software. They even have the UniFi mobile app for easy configuration and to monitor and manage your UniFi networks and devices.
So I added the following components to create a new network:
UniFi Security Gateway (USG)
Two UniFi Switch8 (150W) switches
UniFi Cloud Key Gen2 Plus
Two UniFi AC HD access points

I also decided to add security cameras to my network, so I can monitor my home even when I’m away. For this I used UniFi Protect: Full surveillance management and scalability. You can keep an eye on your property from any device, anywhere. You can use the UniFi Video app to communicate with an NVR (network video recorder) via remote or local access. Easily monitor and manage your UniFi Video cameras.
UniFi Video G3-Micro is a wireless camera that delivers sharp 1080p video in a compact, mount-anywhere form factor. It has integrated infrared night time illumination. For indoor use. Dual-band wireless. 1080p Full HD. Magnetic base, wall mounts, and desk mount included.
The UniFi Protect G4-PRO camera is a 4K resolution unit with a large 1/2” image sensor, 3x powered optical zoom lens and integrated high-power infrared LEDs for night vision.
